TABOR, Or Not TABOR?
One of the many contacts I made at the Black Forest Festival on August 9th, was a gentleman by the name of Michael Shealy (he goes by Mikey), who later emailed me some questions regarding TABOR. Since TABOR is such a hot topic these days, a nebulus enigma to most people, and in fact has created the need for additional legislation that will appear on November's ballot, I thought it would be a good idea to post his questions and my response. In 2006 I'm fairly certain I was the only Democratic candidate to have ever walked in the parade. It was an odd experience in that I was greeted by many stony glares, some scattered boos, and more than a few cheers that raised my spirits.
